Sales & Event Manager - The Role

Manage client relationships from initial enquiry through to event delivery.

Sell and maximise catering opportunities through upselling and cross-selling.

Plan, organise and deliver exceptional catering experiences for a wide range of events.

Create accurate proposals, quotes and event documentation.

Work closely with operational teams to ensure seamless event delivery.

Be present at key live events to support clients and resolve any issues.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts, client records and financial information.

Identify new opportunities and contribute ideas that improve the client experience and grow the business.
What we're looking for

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; a hospitality or catering qualification is desirable.

Experience in sales, events, hospitality or catering.

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, email and ideally databases and PowerPoint.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to communicate at all levels.

Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

Commercial awareness, with an understanding of sales, costs, profitability and opportunities to upsell.

Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of people.

Confident, enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Calm and solutions-focused under pressure, with the ability to meet strict deadlines and manage changing priorities.

Passion for quality and great service, with a creative approach and flexibility to work event-driven hours, including evenings and weekends.
