Full job description

Software Analyst – Test Automation

We are looking for a Software Analyst with strong experience in software testing and Python-based test automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Python.
Create automated tests using Pytest and BDD frameworks such as Behave.
Perform API, integration and functional testing.
Develop performance and load-testing scripts using Locust.
Analyse software requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
Identify, document and support resolution of software defects.
Work closely with developers, business analysts and other project stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement of testing and quality assurance processes.

Key Skills:

Strong Python programming skills.
Hands-on experience with Pytest.
Experience with BDD testing frameworks, preferably Behave or similar.
Experience with Locust or other performance-testing tools.
Understanding of APIs, REST services and automated API testing.
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Previous experience in an automation testing, software testing or software analyst role is desirable.

Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in London
