Crwys Pharmacy is a well-established, independent community pharmacy serving Roath, Adamsdown, Cathays, Splott, Penylan, Cyncoed and beyond for over 40 years. We are a forward-thinking pharmacy with strong systems, a close-knit team, and a genuine commitment to quality patient care. We use Titan PMR and operate a structured, process-driven dispensary that rewards reliability, accuracy, and initiative.
We are looking to strengthen our dispensary team and are open to candidates at multiple levels — from qualified NVQ2 dispensers through to GPhC-registered dispensing technicians and accuracy checking technicians (ACTs). The right level of responsibility, rate, and role will be matched to your qualifications and experience.
The Role
Depending on your level, your responsibilities will include some or all of the following:
At dispenser level (NVQ2): picking and dispensing prescriptions accurately using Titan PMR, stock management, processing repeat prescription requests, supporting CCPS service delivery, dealing with patient queries, and supporting the wider dispensary workflow.
At dispensing technician level (NVQ3/GPhC registered): all of the above plus taking a more senior role within the dispensary, supporting the training and supervision of dispensary staff, taking ownership of ordering and stock management, and delivering services appropriate to your qualification level.
At ACT level: all of the above plus performing accuracy checks on dispensed prescriptions, leading on dispensary standards, and taking a senior role in maintaining workflow efficiency.
We operate a tiered responsibility and permissions system — your Titan access and responsibilities will reflect your competency and develop as your confidence and capability grow.
What We're Looking For
Essential — applications will not be considered without these:
- Minimum NVQ2 in pharmacy services obtained in the UK, or currently enrolled and working towards one
- Right to work in the UK — we are unable to offer sponsorship
Highly valued:
- Experience with Titan PMR
- GPhC registration as a pharmacy technician
- Accuracy checking qualification
- Experience in an independent community pharmacy setting
- Experience supervising or training dispensary staff
- Experience with ordering, stock management, or service delivery
- Saturday availability
