We have an opportunity for a Associate Director of Clinical Services to join their team of staff in the Senior Management department.
This is a full- time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
Lead on all aspects of nursing and clinical service delivery, ensuring care is safe, effective, responsive, and in line with CQC standards and best practice guidelines.
Provide visible, professional leadership across clinical areas, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical strategy, aligning nursing services with wider organisational goals and local population needs.
Lead the recruitment, retention, development, and performance management of the nursing and clinical workforce.
Promote a strong safety culture by overseeing compliance with infection prevention, medicines management, falls prevention, pressure ulcer management, and patient observations.
Manage clinical budgets, ensuring effective use of resources while maintaining care quality.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Registered Nurse (Adult) with active NMC registration.
Significant experience in a senior clinical leadership role within hospital-based services.
Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Nursing, Healthcare Leadership, or related field.
Strong understanding of clinical governance, regulatory standards (e.g., CQC), and national nursing policy.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive service improvement in complex healthcare environments.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
Financial and operational acumen, with experience managing budgets and resources.
Minimum of 2 years clinical management experience in a private hospital setting
