About the Role:
London is known for its fast moving business environment, strong infrastructure, and high standards for professional service delivery, and at Advance Service Solutions Ltd, we bring that same level of organisation and reliability into the technical projects we manage for our clients.
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who can take ownership of planning, coordinating, and delivering technical service projects from start to finish. This role is not just about tracking timelines. You will manage project requirements, coordinate technical teams, control budgets, communicate with stakeholders, and make sure each project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the agreed standard.
You will work closely with senior leadership, engineers, service teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients to keep projects on schedule, solve issues early, and ensure that technical work is delivered with quality and professionalism.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment: Our office is based in London, close to major commercial, service, and infrastructure networks. We value a professional, structured, and hands on working environment where people are trusted to take ownership and deliver strong results.
Project Ownership: You will have a direct role in managing technical projects, improving delivery standards, and ensuring clients receive a smooth and reliable service.
Professional Service Focus: We support clients through structured project planning, technical coordination, supplier management, and clear communication from start to completion.
Growth: You will have the opportunity to improve project processes, strengthen technical delivery standards, build strong client relationships, and support the company as it expands its service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery: Manage technical projects from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.
Technical Coordination: Coordinate engineers, service teams, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project progress and clear responsibility.
Scope and Requirements Management: Gather project requirements, define deliverables, manage changes, and ensure all parties understand the agreed scope of work.
Budget and Cost Control: Track project costs, review supplier pricing, manage variations, monitor spend, and support accurate financial reporting throughout each project.
Timeline Management: Build and maintain project schedules, monitor milestones, identify risks or delays early, and take practical action to keep work on target.
Client Communication: Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing project updates, managing expectations, resolving concerns, and maintaining professional relationships.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify technical, operational, or delivery risks and work with the right teams to resolve issues before they affect project outcomes.
Quality and Compliance: Ensure project work follows company standards, client requirements, health and safety expectations, and relevant technical or service procedures.
Reporting and Improvement: Prepare progress reports, review project performance, track lessons learned, and recommend improvements to delivery processes.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 5 or more years of experience in technical project management, service delivery, facilities services, engineering coordination, infrastructure support, or a similar project delivery role.
Project Management Skills: You can manage schedules, budgets, suppliers, risks, technical teams, and client expectations while keeping projects organised and moving forward.
Technical Understanding: You understand how to coordinate technical work, manage practical delivery issues, and communicate effectively between technical and non technical stakeholders.
Leadership Skills: You are confident leading project meetings, assigning responsibilities, following up on actions, and keeping teams accountable.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required. You should be comfortable speaking with clients, contractors, engineers, suppliers, and senior management.
Tools and Reporting: Experience using project management software, spreadsheets, cost trackers, service management systems, reporting dashboards, or scheduling tools is highly desirable.
Mindset: You are organised, practical, calm under pressure, and solution focused. You know how to keep projects moving, manage risk early, and deliver technical work without compromising quality or client trust.
