Full job description

Production Operative (Mezzanine, End of Line)

Fixed Term Contract

£13.98 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)

Day Shift - 6am - 6pm Monday - Thursday (44 hours per week)

Working within our packing site, Hortonwood 32. You will be responsible for maintaining the production of high-quality finished products through the efficient checking and mixing of raw materials. This role involves heavy lifting of up to 25kg and requires a strong understanding of allergen control. Candidates must have the ability to identify foreign bodies, infestations, or other contaminants that could compromise product safety or consumer health.

This is an opportunity for someone with or without previous Production experience who would like a new challenge in either a familiar or new environment!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Being responsive to the condition of palletised material (including the pallet itself).
Adhering to the allergen procedure during clean-downs of lines and when product is running (i.e., correct colour-coded equipment, wearing designated PPE).
Loading raw material onto Mezzanine tables, ensuring products match customer specifications, production issues, and mixing sheets.
Exercising due diligence when visually checking product for potential foreign bodies, regardless of what they may be.
