Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and preparation. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring that meals are prepared efficiently and to the highest quality. This position requires the ability to work in a well organised kitchen environment while collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist with the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and assist with inventory management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning tasks at the end of shifts.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is prefered.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in meal preparation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
A genuine passion for cooking and providing excellent service to guests.
