Workshops & Admin Coordinator
Job Type: Part Time – 16 hours per week. Flexible hours across the week to be agreed – mornings preferable
Location: Old Allangrange, Munlochy
Salary: Pay depending on experience
About the Role
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Workshops & Admin Coordinator to join our garden design team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the planning and delivery of gardening and design workshops and events as well as helping with the day-to-day running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Workshops & Events
- Plan and organise gardening and garden design workshops from concept to delivery
- Book venues, tools, materials, and facilitators
- Support the smooth running of workshops and events on the day
- Assist with seasonal events, open days, and community activities
Promotion & Outreach
- Promote workshops and services through social media and local networks
- Create and schedule content (posts, emails, flyers)
- Distribute flyers and posters in the local area
- Help showcase projects, gardens, and events online
Administration & Coordination
- Manage diaries and bookings
- Arrange meetings and travel
- Coordinate team schedules and communications
- Provide general admin support across the business including both Black Isle Garden Design & Black Isle Brewery Garden.
Personal Assistant Support
- Provide direct support to the business owner
- Manage and prioritise a busy diary and appointments
- Coordinate meetings
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and itineraries
- Act as a key point of contact and help keep communication organised
About You
- Highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks
- A good communicator with a friendly, can-do attitude
- Comfortable using social media and basic admin systems
- Flexible and willing to help out with hands-on tasks when needed
- An interest in gardening, plants, or outdoor spaces
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in events, workshops, or admin roles
- Interest or background in garden design, horticulture, or landscaping
