Full job description

Help Shape the UK’s Energy Future

HR Administrator Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell C

As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. This role will be within the Marine and Tunnels Section.

What will you do?

Principal Accountabilities, Activities and Decisions

Coordinate onboarding, inductions, and offboarding activities.
Liaise with vetting teams and arrange IT access and new starter communications.
Maintain applicant tracking records and coordinate interviews.
Support recruitment administration and workforce planning activities.
Produce payroll, allowance, and employee movement reports.
Complete allowance uploads and issue payroll reminders.
Support HR projects and provide administrative support to HR Advisors.
Provide cover during absences and assist with ad hoc HR tasks.
Act as a first point of contact for employee queries.
Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
Maintain accurate HR records, trackers, and documentation.
Process employee changes including pay, promotions, and record updates confidentially.

Ability to organise, multi-task and prioritise
Experience of office working
Excellent organisational skills
Administration experience
Experience of using Office 365
