Located in Inverness, Scotland, Cabot Highlands is surrounded by the breathtaking Scottish Highlands and features a rugged landscape that hugs the Moray Firth shoreline. This 420-acre Cabot property is home to the renowned 18-hole Castle Stuart Golf Links, named among the world’s top 100 courses. Acclaimed architect Tom Doak has built a second 18-hole golf course at Cabot Highlands, Old Petty, on a pristine piece of land that plays around the property’s 400-year-old castle. Set to officially open in 2026, the course offers natural contours, meanders along the shoreline, and winds through hillsides and expansive open land. Beyond golf, the destination offers incredible natural beauty and ample outdoor activities including hiking, cycling, fishing, falconry, and horseback riding. The town of Inverness is located ten minutes away and offers opportunities to experience the vibrant Scottish culture through Victorian-era marketplaces, cathedrals, museums and restaurants.

Position Overview

At Cabot our mission is to “Create a Magical experience” for the guest. Housekeeping at Cabot is more than a support role, it is the cornerstone of the guest experience and the Housekeeping members are part of ensuring that each accommodation and guest area delivers first class hospitality.

Core Responsibilities and Competencies

Cleaning and arranging guest rooms and other areas of guest accommodations
Cleaning all areas of Clubhouse and staff out building properties
Gathering and handing over laundry to designated person for pick up by cleaning company
Stocking and maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies
Dusting furniture or fixtures and polishing them
Scrubbing and sanitising showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops and sinks
Vacuuming and cleaning carpets, doormats and rugs
Reporting breakages, damages and safety issues for repairs
Adherence to company H&S Policy
Teamwork
Can do attitude
Excellent timekeeping
Attention to details

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Previous housekeeping experience welcomed but not essential
Knowledge of hospitality housekeeping practices welcomed
Mandatory Training provided

Requirements

Clean driving license
Own transport is required around site

Physical Demands

Working with cleaning tools and chemicals
Standing or moving around for extended periods
Lifting and reaching

Working Hours

30 hours per week with flexible working patterns and some early morning starts – some weekend working.
Please Note: This Fixed term Role is for 3-4 months (August to October/November)
