We're looking for a General Foreperson to join our United Utilities Framework based in the North West of England.

Hours: 45 per week

Join us as a General Foreperson and take the lead in overseeing day-to-day construction operations on water and wastewater treatment works. You'll play a vital role in ensuring that all work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards, whilst managing teams, subcontractors, and resources on-site. What will you be responsible for?
As a General Foreperson, you'll be working within the construction operations team, supporting them in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality projects.
Your day to day will include:
- Supervising and coordinating daily activities of supervisors, work teams, and subcontractors on-site
- Interpreting project plans, programmes, and drawings to delegate work assignments effectively
- Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring all personnel adhere to safety regulations and company policies
- Monitoring work quality, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any issues that arise
- Maintaining accurate records of daily operations, including labour hours, equipment usage, and site conditions
What are we looking for?
This role of General Foreperson is great for you if:
- You have experience in the construction industry, ideally with supervisory or foreperson experience
- You possess excellent communication and collaboration skills for liaising with teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- You can motivate, guide, and mentor teams to achieve successful outcomes
- You have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications
- You hold a Full driving licence and are able to travel to various sites as required
