As we continue to grow, we’re looking for experienced, time served Welder/Fabricators to join our dedicated production team.
Role Overview
As a Welder/Fabricator at Shufflebottom Ltd, you will play a key role in producing structural steel components used in agricultural, commercial, and industrial buildings. You will be expected to work from detailed engineering drawings and operate safely and efficiently as part of a well-established fabrication team.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG welding of structural steel components to a high standard
- Confidently able to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Operating fabrication tools and equipment (cutting, grinding, measuring etc.)
- Carrying out self-checks to ensure quality of work
- Working collaboratively within a team environment to meet daily targets
- Following all site health & safety policies and procedures
- Contributing to a clean, organised, and productive working environment
Requirements
- Time served welder/fabricator
- Minimum 5 years experience in a welding/fabricating role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Safety-conscious, with good knowledge of safe working practices
- Positive attitude, team player, and reliable work ethic
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is desirable but not essential
