Ratcliffe College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and committed Resident Graduate Assistant . This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate considering a career in the Armed Forces, Outdoor Education, Coaching, or Education more broadly, and who wishes to gain valuable experience within a highly supportive school environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work across the Senior and Preparatory Schools, supporting the delivery of our extensive sports programme. Responsibilities will include:
- Co‑curricular support: Assist with activities including the Combined Cadet Force.
- Outdoor Education: Lead sessions such as Mountain Biking with support from the Head of Outdoor Education.
- Pastoral care: Mentor students and contribute to wider pastoral duties.
- Prep School involvement: Support Outdoor Play and Learning in the Preparatory School.
- Lifesaving duties: Train to support swimming provision, with potential to lead if qualified.
- Boarding contribution: Join the boys’ or girls’ boarding house team.
- Summer School leadership: Deliver outdoor activities across summer and half‑term camps.
- Activity development: Help shape and lead outdoor activity programmes.
