Control Room Operator
Due to expansion we are recruiting for additional Control Room Operators to join our fast paced dynamic team based in the heart of the Cotswolds and only a 10-minute walk from Moreton-in-Marsh train station.
The ideal candidate will work within our Operations Centre and will be responsible for a portfolio of our HNW and UHNW clients in order to provide real-time monitoring services.
You will be required to monitor various CCTV, Intruder, Fire and Aspiration systems in order to respond to all incoming alerts in a proactive manner and action an adequate response based upon agreed service standards.
The successful candidate will also follow strict protocols in order to maintain the security of client sites and will accurately record incidents and events using specific software and escalate as required.
As a 24 hour, 365 days a year operation you will be required to work both day and night shifts in a rotating shift pattern in order to ensure the smooth running of our client's security requirements.
Previous experience in a control room and or security training / licence qualifications are ideal but not essential as full training will be provided.
Control Room Operator Requirements
- Ability to liaise confidently with clients & external stakeholders.
- Computer literate and ability to pick up new computer systems.
- Willing to work a mixture of day and night shifts with flexible shift patterns.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with good level of english language.
- Previous experience in a customer service position is preferred.
- Ability to think quickly and respond proactively to incoming alerts.
- Confident when problem solving.
- Be able to remain calm in pressurised situations.
