Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our beauty and wellness team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and specialised treatments such as gel nails and nail art. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity, provide outstanding guest experiences, and contribute to the overall ambience of our establishment. The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for beauty, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Previous experience with management tasks, social media management, or additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application will be considered advantageous. This position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their career within the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
Provide customised services tailored to individual client preferences and needs
Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Manage appointment bookings efficiently at the front desk, ensuring smooth guest flow
Offer exceptional customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere for all clients
Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, deep tissue massage, or makeup application to enhance client satisfaction and revenue
Engage with clients professionally during their visit, offering advice on nail care and other beauty treatments
Manage social media accounts by posting updates, promotions, and engaging content to attract new clients
Assist with guest services beyond nail treatments when required, contributing to overall salon operations
Support management in organising schedules and maintaining stock levels of products

Skills

Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry
Strong management skills with the ability to oversee appointments and client records effectively
Excellent social media management skills for promoting services and engaging with clients online
Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Competence in front desk operations including booking systems and guest interactions
Knowledge of eyelash extensions, deep tissue massage, makeup application, barbering, or other specialised treatments is desirable
Ability to upsell services tactfully while prioritising client needs
Exceptional communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members
Organised with the ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery
