We are looking for compassionate individuals to join our as Children’s Complex Care Assistants!
This role will cover DN22 and NG24 area
At YorHealth, we provide a nurse-led complex care service for children and adults in the community, which includes 24-hour care. Our complex care assistants accompany clients to nursery, school, and hospital when required. Our clients have a range of complex health needs, and we prioritise them in all decision-making processes. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
We are seeking someone who is:
- Warm, friendly, and passionate about the wellbeing of young people, with a caring and patient disposition.
- Experienced supporting children with epilepsy is preferrable
- Holding an NVQ Level 2 or higher in a relevant field is desirable.
- Willing to travel as required (advantageous).
Hours of work:
This role will be to support 2 clients one in the DN22 are and one in NG24. The shift and working patterns will be as and when required and will be waking nights.

- Providing continuous overnight monitoring and support
- Supporting ventilation care
- Observing and recording vital signs and overall wellbeing
- Enteral Feeding
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting children with complex needs preferable
- Caring and Compassionate
- All clinical training will be provided
- Must be able to drive and have access to a car to attend either package
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
Pay: £14.00-£14.82 per hour
