Job Purpose
Here at Octagon Lincoln Ltd, we have a rapidly growing signage department that’s in need of help with production and installation. We have developed this department over the past 3 years and have recently invested in new machinery to increase our signage department. We want to grow signage to compete against all local competition and become one of the largest in the area. We have a key focus on customer satisfaction, care of work, and we will go above and beyond where possible for both our team and clients.
As a key member of the business, you will work alongside our team to produce a great range of signage from built-up letters and illuminated tray signs to full vehicle wraps and PVC banners. Once made, you will be fitting the signage on buildings and vehicles.
Duties – Full training will be provided with ongoing support
- Operate the wide-format printer, plotter and laminator.
- Mount and cut various substrates.
- Fit signage across Lincolnshire.
- Fit livery to vehicles.
- Maintain machines and learn how to fix them when things go wrong.
- Work through the cleaning schedules for the workshop to ensure the workspace is tidy.
- Offering advice on improving current systems within the business
