Full job description

We’re looking for a new member to join our events team to assist with the 2026 wedding season at Happy Valley Norfolk

This is a varied, hands-on role within our wedding and events team, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, genuinely loves people, and is happy turning their hand to whatever the day requires.

The role will include:

Wedding coordination and supporting couples throughout the lead up to their day
Liaising with couples, suppliers and guests professionally and confidently
Wedding and event setup
Drinks order preparation and stock organisation
Supporting bar operations when needed
General site work and helping across all areas of the business
Assisting with the smooth running of weddings and events from start to finish

This is a part-time, seasonal role with weekend availability essential, particularly throughout peak wedding season. Hours will vary depending on weddings, events and business needs.

We’re looking for someone who:

Is calm, proactive and organised under pressure
Has excellent people skills and strong attention to detail
Is happy working both independently and as part of a team
Understands that no two days here are the same
Is practical, flexible and willing to get stuck in
Has hospitality, events or wedding experience (preferred but not essential)

Although the role is initially for the season, there is potential for it to grow into something longer-term for the right person as the business continues to evolve.
