Full job description

CASUAL MARQUEE ERECTOR

2026 SUMMER SEASON

Nationwide Marquee Hire are now recruiting marquee erectors to work for our company based in Nelson. from June - September 2026. Candidates will need to have a good level of fitness as the job is physically demanding and requires heavy lifting. They will be required to work outdoors in all types of weather and be able to work as part of a team.

The job involves travelling from the depot to site, assisting with the loading and unloading of equipment and the erecting and dismantling of marquees up to 20m wide.

Working hours may vary depending on the workload and hours are flexible. Candidates may be asked to work up to 10 hours per day including evenings and weekends.

Starting rate of pay will be between £12.71 and £15.00 per hour depending on age and experience.

Previous experience, a driver’s licence and a forklift truck licence are desirable along with any Health & Safety or manual handling qualifications. Basic training and protective clothing will be provided.
