Press Machine Operator
We’re looking for a Press Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing team. If you have experience working with press machinery, transfer presses, or a strong mechanical background and are keen to learn, this could be a great opportunity for you.
What we’re looking for
- Experience operating production machinery
- Experience with press machinery or transfer presses would be advantageous
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Someone reliable who takes pride in their work
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What you’ll be doing
- Operating transfer press machinery (Plattarg presses)
- Assisting with machine set-ups and loading materials
- Monitoring product quality and production output
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
- Following health & safety and quality procedures
- Completing production paperwork accurately
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Flexibility to cover other shifts when required for holidays or long-term sickness absence
Pay Rates
- Training rate: £13.05 per hour
- £13.80 per hour once traine
