Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, ensuring that the store is well-presented and stocked and be able to pick and unload pallets of stock including large bags of pet and animal Feed, coal & logs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a knack for merchandising, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products
Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance the customer experience
Taking and unloading deliveries.
Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an appealing shopping environment
Process transactions accurately using the till system
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Keep the sales floor organized and well-stocked throughout the day
Uphold company policies and procedures regarding customer service and store operations

Qualifications

Strong communication skills in English
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash management
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy retail setting
Demonstrated organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace
