Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Mortgage Advisor with CAS (Competent Advisor Status) accreditation to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital part in guiding clients through the mortgage process, providing expert advice, and ensuring they find the best financing solutions tailored to their needs. Your energetic approach will help clients feel confident and supported as they navigate one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in mortgage lending while making a meaningful impact on clients’ futures.

Duties

Assess clients’ financial situations and determine suitable mortgage options based on their goals and circumstances
Provide clear, detailed explanations of mortgage products, interest rates, repayment terms, and associated fees
Guide clients through the application process, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
Stay updated on current lending regulations, market trends, and product offerings to deliver accurate advice
Collaborate with lenders, underwriters, and other financial professionals to facilitate smooth loan approvals
Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions, applications, and approvals for compliance purposes

Skills

Strong knowledge of financial services and mortgage lending processes
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and confidently
Proficiency in using Microsoft tools
Basic math skills for calculating interest rates, payments, and affordability assessments
Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their unique financial situations
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple applications simultaneously
