Job Overview
EXPERIENCED ROOFER AND CLADDER

Must have cscs card and use of own vehicle and tools

Prices and day rates to be discussed

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roof sheeting and cladder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of building types. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work at heights. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction and related trades to develop their skills further within a professional environment.

Duties

Installing new roofing systems using various materials such metal sheets
Repairing and replacing damaged or worn roofing components to ensure structural integrity
Reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings to execute projects accurately
Operating power tools, hand tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently
Fabricating custom components
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Assisting with heavy lifting and manoeuvring of roofing materials and equipment on-site
Conducting inspections of completed work to verify quality standards are met
Collaborating with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes

Experience

Proven experience in roofing or cladding
Familiarity with schematics, welding techniques, and fabrication processes is advantageous
Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for construction tasks
Experience working at heights and in outdoor environments is essential
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to roofing activities is required
