Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Office Clerk to join our administrative team. This role involves providing essential clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of daily office activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a professional attitude to handle various administrative tasks efficiently. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career within a dynamic office environment.

Duties

Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
Maintaining accurate records through data entry and filing systems
Assisting with scheduling appointments and organising meetings
Handling phone calls with professional etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
Preparing documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
Managing invoicing and financial records using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Supporting other administrative tasks as required to support team operations
Ensuring the office environment remains organised, clean, and efficient

Qualifications

Prior office experience or administrative experience is preferred
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy
Demonstrated data entry skills with attention to detail
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of clerical procedures and office management practices
