Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Food & Beverage Supervisor, where your leadership and culinary expertise will elevate the guest experience! In this energetic role, you will oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service, food safety, and team coordination. Your passion for hospitality and management skills will drive success in a fast-paced environment, inspiring your team to deliver memorable dining experiences. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and supervisory talents while contributing to a vibrant service atmosphere.

The salary is £30,500 + shared tips and the hours are a 45 hour week on a shift pattern over 5 days but can include weekend and evenings so you must be flexible.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food preparation, cooking, serving, and food presentation to maintain high-quality standards.
Lead and motivate the food and beverage team, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure excellent customer service.
Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to comply with health regulations and maintain a safe environment.
Manage daily operations including inventory control, stock replenishment, and ensuring proper food storage practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes, monitor food production processes, and uphold culinary standards.
Assist in menu planning and suggest improvements based on customer feedback and current trends.
Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure overall satisfaction with dining experiences.

Experience

Proven management or supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Extensive background in food production, cooking, food preparation, and serving techniques.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively.
Hands-on experience in kitchen operations, culinary arts, or restaurant management.
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices essential for maintaining compliance.
Previous barista experience or familiarity with beverage service is a plus.
Excellent communication skills coupled with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
