Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological and orthopaedic conditions, while providing excellent patient care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, clinical environment

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with musculoskeletal complaints
Develop customised treatment plans based on individual needs and medical history
Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programmes promote recovery and pain relief
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment programmes as necesaary
Educate patients and their family on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
Stay updated with the latest developments in physiotherapy practices and techniques through continuous professional development

Requirements

recognised qualification in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc) with valid registration with the appropriate professional body
Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to musculoskeletal conditions
Strong patient care skills with an empathetic and professional demeanour
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with patients and healthcare teams
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to clinical guidelines

Pay: £53.00 per hour
