Assistant Manager – Revival Wellness Café
Salary: £30,000–£38,000 DOE + Performance Bonus
We’re looking for an exceptional Assistant Manager to help lead the day-to-day operations of Revival Wellness Café.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in high-standard environments and takes genuine pride in consistency, quality, team development, and operational excellence.
Working closely alongside the owners and management team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every aspect of the business runs smoothly — from customer experience and team performance to quality control, profitability, and continuous improvement.
We’re looking for someone who can become a trusted operational leader within the business — someone who shares our commitment to excellence and can confidently maintain Revival’s standards when senior management are not present.

The Role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example, developing teams, and constantly looking for ways to improve performance.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining standards across all areas of the business, including front of house, baristas, kitchen operations, customer service, and overall team performance.
You will work closely with the owners and management team to identify opportunities for growth, improve systems and processes, increase profitability, reduce waste, and help drive the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence
- Ensure exceptional standards are maintained across the café at all times
- Monitor quality and consistency of food, drinks, and customer experience
- Conduct regular quality control checks across all departments
- Ensure systems, processes, and procedures are being followed correctly
- Support smooth day-to-day operations during service
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional environment
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and actively manage front of house, barista, floor, and kitchen teams
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to consistently perform at a high level
- Deliver training and ongoing development plans
- Hold team members accountable to Revival standards and expectations
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
- Help create a positive, supportive, and high-performing culture
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor sales performance, customer feedback, labour efficiency, and wastage
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve profitability
- Help implement systems and processes that improve consistency and efficiency
- Work closely with management to analyse business performance and identify areas for improvement
- Support stock control and cost management across all departments
- Contribute ideas that improve service, operations, and the overall customer experience
Customer Experience
- Ensure every customer receives a consistently exceptional experience
- Lead by example during service
- Resolve customer issues professionally and proactively
- Create an atmosphere that reflects the Revival brand and values
- Build strong relationships with both customers and team members
What We’re Looking For
- Previous management or senior supervisory experience within hospitality
- Experience leading teams in busy café, restaurant, or hospitality environments
- Strong operational and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- A passion for training, coaching, and developing people
- Commercial awareness and confidence interpreting business performance
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- A proactive mindset with a desire to continuously improve
