We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Residential Property team in Bournemouth.

About the Role
As a Paralegal in our Residential Property team, you'll play a key role in supporting the progression of conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion and post-completion. You'll work closely with fee earners, clients, estate agents, and other third parties, helping to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently while delivering an excellent client experience.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting fee earners with a broad range of residential conveyancing matters.
- Opening new files and maintaining accurate records on the firm's case management system.
- Monitoring key dates and deadlines to ensure matters progress efficiently.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to provide updates and progress transactions.
- Managing incoming correspondence and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Assisting with file preparation for exchange and completion.
- Supporting fee earners' caseloads through regular client and third-party contact.
- Undertaking completion day procedures, including handling redemptions and the transfer of funds.
- Assisting with post-completion work and file closing processes.
- Maintaining high standards of client care and supporting the team's commitment to excellent service delivery.
- Promoting the firm's core values of clients, people, teamwork, and progressiveness.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong interest in residential property law and conveyancing.
- Previous legal experience would be advantageous, although not essential.
- A good working knowledge of conveyancing processes is desirable.
- LPC, Law Degree, MILEX qualification, or equivalent (desirable).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong client service skills and a professional approach.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
