Salary/Benefits: £26,436.80 annual salary (pro-rata) + c. £5,400 service charge

We are looking for a Pool Attendant to join our award winning hotel in Hampshire.

Chewton Glen is a true English original. From the unique 72 bedrooms including 14 one of a kind Treehouses, to the award-winning, newly refurbished spa and state of the art James Martin cookery school, it has an abundance of ways to revive your senses. The blissful 130 acres of woodland are home to an indoor and outdoor tennis centre, a 9-hole golf course, heritage orchard, 70 working beehives, a walled kitchen garden, croquet lawn and more.

Aim of the Pool Attendant

To maintain the high standards of cleanliness and service around the outdoor and indoor pools of Chewton Glen while monitoring guest safety.

Responsibilities of the Pool Attendant

Take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of our beautiful outdoor pool
Take responsibility for the number of guests around the pool to ensure safety.
Be part of the team serving guests by clearing towels, tidying the pool area and taking guest food and drink orders
Assist the team in opening and closing the pool to the hotels agreed 5 star standard
Work closely with the Duty Management team to help elsewhere in the hotel during quiet times and wet weather

Pool Attendant - About you

Experience in serving guests in a 5 star environment advantagious
A keen eye for detail where cleanliness and standards are concerned
You will be confident when talking to and serving guests

Salary based on 40 hours per week £26,436.80 pa pro rata
Tronc paid monthly with salary approx £5400 pa based on 40 hours (non-contractual)
