Full job description

We are a well-established and reputable joinery manufacturer based in Faversham, Kent, and we are currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to join our skilled production team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a evolving & dynamic company known for producing high-quality bespoke joinery products.

The Role:

Programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery - preferably 5 Axis
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Producing bespoke joinery components to a high standard
Ensuring accuracy and quality control throughout production
Maintaining machinery and ensuring safe working practices
Working closely with the workshop and design teams

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Operator within a joinery or woodworking environment
Experience with a 3 or 5 axis CNC
Experience with CAD using Autodesk software
Experience with CAM software (e.g. Alphacam, Fusion or similar)
Strong understanding of woodworking machinery and processes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Adaptable to new technologies & methodologies
Must be adaptive, forward thinking & progressive in self developing
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
