Marketing & Social Media Lead (Part-Time)
Location: Edinburgh & Falkirk
Hours: 20–24 hours per week (Flexible)
Salary: £18,000 – £28,000 per annum (pro rata) DOE
Bonus: Performance-related bonus available

Xtreme Karting is one of Scotland's leading indoor karting destinations, delivering high-energy experiences, unforgettable events and exceptional customer service. Alongside our karting venues, we continue to expand our entertainment offering through innovative experiences including Combat VR.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Marketing & Social Media Lead to take ownership of our marketing strategy, social media performance and customer acquisition activities.

The Role
You will be responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing strategy across digital and offline channels.
Working closely with the Managing Director and Operations Team, you will ensure marketing activity directly supports business objectives, increases brand awareness, drives bookings and delivers measurable return on investment.
You will also work alongside our Content Creator to ensure campaigns are supported by engaging and high-performing content.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Create annual, quarterly and monthly marketing plans.
- Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition and customer retention.
- Monitor marketing performance and provide regular reporting on key metrics.
- Analyse competitor activity and market trends.
Social Media Management
- Lead and manage all social media channels including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Develop content plans and campaign strategies.
- Grow audiences, engagement and community interaction.
- Monitor platform trends and emerging opportunities.
- Analyse performance data and optimise content accordingly.
Digital Marketing
- Manage paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- Drive lead generation and customer acquisition initiatives.
- Manage email marketing campaigns and customer communications.
- Improve website performance through content and SEO optimisation.
- Track campaign effectiveness and maximise return on investment.
Brand Development
- Ensure consistency across all branding and communications.
- Protect and enhance the company's reputation and market position.
- Develop partnerships, promotions and local marketing initiatives.
- Build customer trust and loyalty through effective communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience in marketing, social media management or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and paid advertising.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret marketing data.
- Experience using Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics and digital marketing tools.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience within leisure, hospitality, entertainment or consumer-facing businesses.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Graphic design skills.
- SEO knowledge and website content management experience.
