Description:

Thatcham Butchers is a family run wholesale butchers based in Newbury, Berkshire. We pride ourselves in high-quality meats and top-tier food standards. Due to continued business growth we are seeking for an experienced and skilled butcher to join our evening shift team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for meat preparation, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards. You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive expertly cut, high-quality meat products.

Key Responsibilities:

Cutting, trimming, boning, and preparing meat products to customer specifications
Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, following all health and safety regulations
Operating and maintaining meat processing equipment
Ensuring proper storage, handling and labelling of all products
Working Monday - Friday
15:00pm - Finish

Requirements:

Previous experience as a butcher (Required)
Knowledge of different cuts of meat and preparation techniques
Strong knife skills
Ability to work in a cold environment and handle physical tasks
A team player with a positive can-do attitude
