Garner Osborne Circuits is a well‑established PCB manufacturer and we are currently recruiting Process Operators to join our Manufacturing team. Roles are available across departments including Drill, Wet Process, Multilayer, and General Production.
The Role
As a Process Operator, you will work within our PCB production environment, operating PCB line machinery and working safely with chemicals to ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
Hours & Benefits:
We have 2 Full‑time role – 40 hours per week shift patterns available :
Late Shift
Monday to Thursday: 13:00 – 22:00
- 20‑minute paid break
- 30‑minute unpaid lunch break
Friday (early finish): 13:00 – 19:00
20% Evening shift enhancement on your pay when working the evening shift.
Day Shift
Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:45
- 20‑minute paid break
- 30‑minute unpaid lunch break
Friday (early finish): 07:45 – 13:45
Annual Leave - 22.5 days per year (180 hours) plus bank holidays
- An additional one day (8 hours) for every 5 years of service
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor PCB production line machines in line with work instructions·
- Operating, monitoring, and maintaining a wide range of wet‑process chemical , printing or coating, Drilling equipment used in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing
- Set up, adjust, and monitor process parameters to maintain quality and productivity
- Safely handle PCB panels, materials, and chemicals in accordance with COSHH regulations
- Carry out visual and basic dimensional checks to ensure quality requirements are met Accurately complete production records, logs, and quality documentation
- Identify and report any issues, defects, equipment faults or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area in line with 6S standards
- Comply with all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures
- Follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Work flexibly across departments where trained to meet production demandsStandard Responsibilities

About you
Essential:
- Conversational level of verbal communication skills in English
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Comfortable working with machinery, PCB process lines, and chemicals
- Good attention to detail and quality awareness
- Ability to follow procedures accurately
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or flexible hours if required
Desirable:
- Experience in PCB or electronics manufacturing
- Knowledge of drill, wet process, or multilayer operations
- Awareness of ISO 9001, IPC, or similar quality standards

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
