Marketing, Content & Social Media Coordinator (Part-Time)

Chieveley, Berkshire (RG20) | Part-time | Approximately 8–24 hours per week

About Horsham Developments

Horsham Developments is an established independent automotive performance specialist based near Newbury, Berkshire. We specialise in diagnostics, performance tuning, bespoke engineering and specialist vehicle development, working with a wide range of prestige and performance cars.

We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic Marketing, Content & Social Media Coordinator to help showcase the work we do through engaging digital content.

Working directly alongside the business owner and technicians, you’ll help plan, capture and coordinate marketing activity across our digital channels.

The Role

This is a varied hybrid role combining workshop-based content capture with flexible home-based editing, administration and content management.

You’ll spend time in the workshop understanding interesting projects, photographing and filming vehicles, discussing upcoming work with the owner, and then turning that into engaging content across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and maintain the marketing and social media calendar.
Meet regularly with the business owner to understand upcoming projects and marketing priorities.
Photograph and film vehicles, workshop projects and behind-the-scenes content.
Edit photos and videos for Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
Write engaging captions and supporting content.
Schedule and publish content across multiple channels.
Help maintain a consistent online presence.
Support marketing for new products, services and mail-order developments.
Assist with general marketing administration where required.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has an interest in performance cars, engineering, motorsport or the automotive industry.
Can understand technical work well enough to help communicate it to customers through engaging content.
Enjoys photography, videography and digital content creation.
Has experience editing video using software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve or similar.
Is organised, reliable and able to manage multiple projects.
Has excellent written English.
Is confident speaking with people and translating conversations into engaging digital content.
Is comfortable working within a busy workshop environment.

Previous experience in marketing, social media or content creation is desirable, whether gained through employment, freelance work or personal projects.

Someone aged 18 or over, as the role involves working within an active automotive workshop.

Hours & Location

Approximately 8–24 hours per week, typically spread across 3-5 days.
Based near Chieveley (RG20).
The role combines time spent on-site capturing content and meeting with the owner, with the flexibility to complete editing, scheduling and administration from home.
Due to the rural location, applicants will need their own transport as there is no practical public transport to the workshop.
