Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our butchery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, ensuring adherence to food safety standards, and supporting the overall butchery operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those with a passion for food production

Duties

Prepare a variety of food items
Assist in food assembly, and presentation to ensure visual appeal
butchery process, including cutting, trimming, and portioning meats
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock levels are low
Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment
Assist with food safety documentation and quality control checks

Requirements

Previous experience in butchery roles is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
Experience in food preparation
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Relevant butchery experience is desirable but not essential for entry-level candidates

Pay: £24,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
