We’re building a brand-new Wholesale leadership team to set and deliver an ambitious wholesale strategy that drives sustainable growth, launches new revenue streams, forges powerful partnerships and delivers on customer experience. The Roaming & Interconnect team are responsible for managing VodafoneThree’ s commercial relationship with 3rd party operators and Group Roaming Services for Interconnect & Roaming services. As the International Roaming Specialist, you will be a fundamental part of the Roaming Operations team responsible for the operational success and quality of VodafoneThrees roaming products combined with providing a high-quality roaming experience for our +30 million customers travelling abroad, whilst also delivering exceptional service to millions of inbound visitors on our networks.

Test and launch new VoLTE, 5G and core services, including Commercial Launch, thereby expanding VodafoneThrees global service footprint

Update International Roaming Agreements ensuring technology neutrality and compilation of VoLTE Annex (C14)

Manage roaming operational incidents and their resolution for VodafoneThree, MVNO and inbound roaming customers in collaboration with vendors and technical teams where appropriate

Provide input and support for projects that touch roaming ensuring no disruption to service and quality

Update the Advice of Charge messages for VodafoneThree and MVNO customers as required

Modify customers to the preferred roaming partners based on volume / financial/ commercial commitment

Update International Roaming Agreements ensuring technology neutrality and compilation of VoLTE Annex (C14)
Qualifications
-
Experienced International Roaming Specialist or with relevant experience in Operations or Network Engineering roles

Strong operational understanding of core network technologies including SS7, IP, CAMEL, IMS, VoLTE, 5G, TADIG and related systems

Ability to interpret and analyse network performance KPIs and service metrics

Delivery-focused, with the credibility and confidence to engage and influence stakeholders

Excellent attention to detail, strong multitasking capability, and effective communication skills, with a continuous improvement mindset

Comfortable working and developing relationships with a variety of teams and stakeholders within VodafoneThree.
