Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Glass Collectors to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our hospitality environment, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a positive attitude, contributing to the overall ambience of our establishment. Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant settings is advantageous, but full training will be provided. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills within the hospitality industry. Applicants MUST be able to work late night and weekend shifts
Responsibilities
- Collecting used glasses, crockery, and cutlery from designated areas throughout the venue
- Ensuring all glassware is handled safely and responsibly to prevent breakage or injury
- Assisting with the cleaning and sanitising of glassware and utensils as required
- Maintaining cleanliness in service areas, including organising storage spaces for glassware
- Supporting team members with basic food preparation tasks when necessary
- Communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth service flow
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times, including proper waste disposal
Requirements
- Prior experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work during busy periods, including evenings and weekends if required
- Basic organisational skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is a plus but not mandatory
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
