Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Home, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting, contributing to the overall well-being and satisfaction of our clients. Prior experience in janitorial services, or hospital environments is highly desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal spaces, bedrooms and en suites
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure hygienic standards are met
Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
Dispose of waste responsibly and replenish supplies as needed
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Adhere to organisational policies regarding confidentiality and professionalism

Requirements

Proven experience in janitorial services, or hospital cleaning environments is preferred but not essential
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks over extended periods
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
Previous experience in hospital settings is a plus but not essential
