Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) – Full Time (Days or Nights)

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our friendly team in a well-established nursing home in Saintfield, Co. Down.

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care, ensuring the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of our residents while working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care.
Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical records.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans.
Monitor residents' health and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
Supervise and support Care Assistants during your shift.
Ensure compliance with NMC standards, safeguarding policies, and care home procedures.

Requirements

Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN with a valid PIN.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous nursing home experience is desirable but not essential.
