Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Joiner / Carpenter to join our growing team. This role involves a wide range of joinery and carpentry tasks across both domestic and commercial properties, supporting standalone jobs as well as larger installation projects.
Depending on operational needs and agreement on the job site, Joiners may be assigned to commissioned work for Clementine clients or delegated to construction duties on our long-term projects. These work types may also be combined within a single day or workweek to support flexible delivery and resource planning. Your role will be discussed in detail with the manager during the initial interview. You will be assigned specific tasks along with a clear timeframe for their completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and repair doors, door frames, architraves, skirting, stud walling and kitchen units including worktop cutting
- Carry out other general carpentry and joinery tasks on-site
- Carry out on occasions other related small works to facilitate the project.
- Interpret and work from drawings or supervisor instructions
- Work safely with hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
- Liaise professionally with site supervisors and clients
- Follow all company processes, including reporting and documentation
- Ensure work meets quality standards and deadlines
- Remain adaptable to different types of assignments – whether client-specific or construction-focused – as determined by the daily/weekly plan
Qualifications :
- Relevant NVQ level 3 by City & Guilds in Carpentry & Joinery
- CSCS Skilled Worker Card (required)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in joinery/carpentry,
- Experience in domestic works with commercial environments an advantage
- Be able to cover all aspects of carpentry and joinery in a domestic property
- It would be preferable to have second-man experience and multi-trade capability in one (preferably two+) of the following areas:
- Plumbing
- Tiling
- Plastering
- Plaster boarding
- Painting
- Brickwork
Compliance & Eligibility
- Right to work in the UK – Proof required
- Enhanced DBS Check – Required prior to site work (company-funded).
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence – Required for travel between client sites.
- References – Minimum of 2 recent professional references.
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
