Graduate Business Consultant

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
Working Arrangement: Fully On Site
Salary: £28,000 basic salary plus performance bonus opportunities
OTE: £32,000 to £38,000+

Finding a graduate role that offers genuine commercial substance can be difficult. Many entry-level positions involve observing from the sidelines or performing administrative tasks that offer little insight into how a company actually operates. At Alpha UK Projects, we take a different approach. We believe that the best way to develop future business leaders is through direct exposure to the mechanics of growth, strategy, and client acquisition from day one.

As we continue to expand our operations in Newcastle upon Tyne, we are looking for ambitious graduates who are less interested in a routine desk job and more focused on how a business scales. This is a high-standard environment where your contribution is measured by results and your ideas are given a platform. You will work closely with senior consultants and experienced managers, gaining a practical education in commercial decision-making that a textbook simply cannot provide.

The Role and Responsibilities

The position of Graduate Business Consultant is varied and demands a proactive mindset. You will be expected to learn quickly and take accountability for your work within a supportive yet challenging atmosphere. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Supporting senior consultants and managers with the execution of business projects.
Identifying and pursuing new client acquisition activities to support market expansion.
Contributing creative ideas and strategic input during internal business development meetings.
Conducting detailed market research to identify emerging trends and commercial opportunities.
Analysing campaign performance and business metrics to ensure high standards are maintained.
Building and sustaining professional relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Attending and contributing to strategy meetings focused on growth planning.
Learning the complexities of commercial decision-making and business performance monitoring.
Assisting with the delivery of business growth projects across the region.
