Full job description

Position Summary

As a Product Specialist at Legrand Care, you will gain in-depth knowledge of our carephones, alarm systems and IoT platforms. You help sales, customers and partners with everything from technical questions to product demonstrations and trainings. You also interact with the development teams to specify and prioritize product requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical product support to the commercial teams, particularly in tender response processes
Interact with the development teams to specify and prioritize product requirements
Coordinate product development activities with development teams and other involved parties
Manage product demonstrations and trainings
Collect and specify market and customer needs for the UK region
Prepare and validate product information to support Marketing in the delivery of product launch collateral, brochures, and technical data sheets
Supporting the adaptation of our solutions to the customer's needs
Lead local certification activities and interoperability tests
Coordinate and take part in local field tests and product tests
Coordinate and support product launches, including training campaigns
Contribute to all internal and external stakeholder meetings regarding technical product capabilities
Actively monitor competitor activity and undertake comparison of core products

Requirements

Degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics, Telecommunications or IoT, combined with relevant professional experience in a Product Specialist, Technical Support, Pre-sales or Product role.
Experience working with technical and connected products, ideally in care solutions, alarm systems or IoT platforms.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, R&D and Marketing teams, including support for tender responses.
Experience in product demonstrations, trainings, testing, certifications and interoperability activities.
Strong capability to translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements.
Comfortable with technical documentation, product launches and competitive analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, customer-oriented and proactive.
Fluent English (written and spoken) required; French is a plus.
