Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, creating innovative cocktails, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. As a Senior Bartender, you will play a key role in enhancing the guest experience by providing expert drink service and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- Ensure all drinks are prepared in accordance with company standards and health & safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously.
- Manage bar stock levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
- Train and mentor junior staff members to uphold service quality and efficiency.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems efficiently.
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking practices.
- Collaborate with management to develop new cocktail menus and promotional events.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender, ideally within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards related to beverage preparation.
- Excellent serving skills combined with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
- Demonstrated ability in basic maths for handling transactions and measurements accurately.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior role is advantageous.
- Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours efficiently.
- A genuine passion for hospitality, coupled with excellent communication skills, is essential for success in this role.
Pay: £12.21-£18.00 per hour
