Inspire Young Minds through Movement! Join Active Kids as a Children’s Fitness Instructor

Do you have the energy, creativity, and passion to inspire children through movement? Active Kids is looking for enthusiastic fitness instructors to deliver fun and engaging sessions in primary schools - including after-school clubs - across Newcastle, South Tyneside, and Sunderland.

What You’ll Do:

Lead energetic fitness, dance, and sports activities for children of various ages
Bring creativity, positivity, and excellent communication skills to every session
Make a real difference in young people’s lives by encouraging healthy, active lifestyles
Adapt your approach to motivate and inspire all children to enjoy physical activity

About the Role:

Self-employed position teaching sports, dance, and fitness in primary schools
Term-time only, with potential for 1-hour after-school clubs in the future
Times and hours vary each term

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in sports, dance, or fitness is preferred
Reliability, professionalism, and strong management skills
Adaptability and willingness to use a variety of activities to engage children
A full driving licence and your own transport are preferable (work is spread across various schools in the region)
Successful candidates will be required to apply for an Active Kids DBS check
