Purpose:
To conduct allocated work to established quality standards and to required timetables. To lead/ direct other staff in conducting this work, ensuring the health & safety of all affected. This includes training. To establish and maintain a safe and effective working environment, including shop cleanliness and housekeeping. To ensure that equipment is available and maintained, including calibration of gauges. To monitor and advise of stock levels of consumables and parts so that these are available to ensure service levels. To provide required production records (paper and electronic). To establish and maintain a communications cell which enables staff and management to easily see important performance measures e.g. delivery on time, parts availability and quality problems/ equipment issues. To lead improvement initiative.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Team Leader to lead, manage, and motivate a team.You will play a vital role in achieving our business goals by focusing on continuous improvement, operational quality, and attentive customer service.

Lead and motivate team members to achieve daily operational targets.

Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Ensure all Health & Safety policies and procedures are strictly followed on-site.

Maintain high standards of stock accuracy and operational quality control.

Identify training needs and support the professional development of your team.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure all operational requirements are met.

Organising/ motivating/ training staff to complete production tasks

Completing production records

Requesting parts
-
Requesting equipment repairs, replacement, calibration

Updating Comms Cell data
-
Completing cell 5S cleaning events; reorganising cell layout to improve effectiveness

Arranging inspections and NDT examinations

Deputising for other Cell Leaders and the Production Manager-including leading the main Comms Cell

Leading the resolution of quality/ production/ customer communication issues e.g. by taking photographs / briefing on condition reports
And other reasonable requests that may made by the Company or your Line Manager.
