Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing essential financial records, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping processes and supporting our accounting functions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about numbers and organization to contribute to a thriving organization while maintaining flexible hours. Duties

Maintain accurate financial records using various accounting Xero software
Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice entry, verification and timely payments
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions regularly to ensure data accuracy
Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management review
Support month-end and year-end closing activities with attention to detail
Organize and file financial documents systematically for easy retrieval and audit readiness
Collaborate with other departments to improve bookkeeping procedures and ensure compliance

Requirements

Proven experience with accounting software Xero is essential.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general bookkeeping principles
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
Basic knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
Prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role is preferred but not mandatory
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team
