Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced skilled Bench Hand Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bench hand carpentry and joinery, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various wooden structures and components. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and machinery, as well as a solid understanding of construction principles. The experienced Bench Hand Joiner will work on a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including frames, doors, windows, stairs and other various bespoke joinery products.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete joinery tasks.
Carry out joinery work in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square to meet quality standards.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Perform painting and finishing tasks as required to enhance the appearance of completed work.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Bench Hand Joiner or Carpenter in a similar role is essential.
Familiarity with joinery techniques, materials, and tools is required.
Experience in masonry work is advantageous but not mandatory.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is essential.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
