About the Role

Level: 4
Department: Product Governance
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: Permanent

The Product Governance team at Quilter Cheviot is responsible for ensuring that our products are designed and perform to meet client’s needs. This oversight is undertaken by meetings with counterparties, desk-based analysis and presentation of findings to the relevant forums.

In additional to governance the team launches new products when a new market opportunity is identified and would close any product that no long meets client needs.

Some of the day to day tasks with be:

Produce product review papers for the Product Governance Forum and wider business as required
Source papers and data for the PGF from other teams.
Attend monthly meetings of the PGF and provide challenge where needed
Help embed Customer Duty into the team’s processes analysis of data to support production of the annual Assessment of Value
Support maintenance of QC Product Governance Policies, Approvals and other PGF documentation
Monitoring and analysis of distribution data, fund flows and other quantitative data and providing review reports on funds for the PGF
Working with Marketing and Investment Specialists to ensure the correct messaging and positioning of products is carried through into marketing collateral and investment communications
Analyze data for distribution of funds and respond to third party requests for data

About You

You should be able to analyse and understand data as well as present it in a way that is understandable to the recipient.
Communicates clearly, listens effectively. Written communication is concise and well presented, using appropriate grammar, style, and language
Has technical knowledge appropriate to the role, including relevant computer systems, and keeps this knowledge up to date.
Effectively balances priorities to meet agreed deadlines for individual and teamwork.
A willingness to present
Understands consequences of decisions and follows instructions.
Acknowledges and learns from mistakes.
Understands and applies current regulatory obligations and procedures to achieve compliance, including upholding TCF principles.
Willingness to learn.
Develops good operational knowledge of departmental processes.
Assists the team in developing and maintaining appropriate internal and external business relationships, using the appropriate communication method.
Relevant professional qualifications, such as IMC/CFA are desirable
