Project Manager

Cheltenham

Noriker Power is a leading renewable energy integrator and developer specialising in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects that support the UK and Ireland’s power grid. Over the past ten years, we’ve developed and built more than 350MW of battery and hybrid facilities with an extensive pipeline of projects. With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and long-term impact, we have become a key player in the energy transition driving the development of grid-scale projects that shape the future of a renewable and sustainable grid.

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager who has experience and passion for sustainable development with a background in development, construction and commissioning of large scale energy projects. You will be a critical contributor in delivering BESS projects of up to 500MW.

We have developed a team of motivated, enthusiastic individuals with a passion for sustainability and innovation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, possess a strong sense of responsibility and be committed to delivering high quality results to assist in our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, develop and manage grid-scale BESS engineering projects, managing all aspects including cost, programme and risk.
Oversee all project stages from initial planning through to commissioning.
Collaboration with internal project engineers and external consultants to ensure project success.
Engage and manage a range of stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and conduct hand over processes from commissioning to operations.
Monitor technical and logistical components, incorporating feedback into future designs and processes.
Communication of lessons learned and identification of continuous improvement.
Support business development to expand project opportunities.

Requirements:

Degree qualified, ideally in a STEM subject.
Preferable experience in the power industry such as BESS, renewables, ICPs, DNOs, or utilities.
Demonstrable experience of delivering large scale engineering projects.
Ability to manage project timescales and financials accurately and create accurate reporting throughout the lifecycle.
Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Positive, self motivated and accountable problem solver.
Familiar with UK regulations, HSE standards and compliance frameworks.
Commutable to Cheltenham office.
