Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, contributing to the overall appearance and safety of our facilities. A valid driving licence and good communication skills are desirable to facilitate smooth operations and excellent customer service.

This is a short term role, to cover unexpected staff sickness

Duties

Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
Ensure waste disposal is carried out efficiently and in accordance with health and safety regulations
Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
Communicate with clients or team members regarding specific cleaning requirements or issues
Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly to management
Adhere to health and safety policies at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is beneficial
Good communication skills in English are essential for effective teamwork and customer interaction
Customer service experience is a plus, especially when dealing with clients directly or handling feedback professionally
Valid driving licence is desirable to facilitate travel between sites or locations as required
